Tirios: Where Simplicity Meets Innovation For Novice Real Estate Investors

Share

For the millennial generation currently in the throes of a housing crisis, real estate can seem like a scary place to invest time and money. To help young and inexperienced investors break into a transparent real estate investment plan, Tirios is here to help.

“Tirios addresses these challenges head-on,” says Founder Sachin Latawa. “Our platform is designed for utmost simplicity and inclusivity. We empower individuals to begin their journey as real estate investors. By offering fractional shares of residential real estate, we make it possible for a wider audience to participate in and benefit from the real estate market.”

Tirios is announcing its recent filing with the SEC under Regulation A+ (or Mini-IPO). Soon, real estate investments can be offered to all US investors, and real estate will no longer be restricted to a fortunate few.

The team at Tirios believes that real estate investment is a renowned path to growing wealth, though most Americans are either intimidated by its complexity or too cash-constrained to take advantage of the investment opportunities.

Prior to his founding of Tirios, Latawa held various executive positions, including CFO Real Estate position at Icahn Enterprises where he oversaw $1.1 billion in AUM and over $1 billion in real estate transactions spanning across homebuilding operations, residential master plan communities, distressed assets, net lease office properties, resort operations, industrial warehouses, and other asset classes. Tirios helps young investors to explore their opportunities to invest in real estate, making the process simple and straight-forward.

Tirios has made it their goal to even the playing field and offer more people the opportunity to grow their wealth through real estate. Tirios works to bridge the gap between traditional technology and web3 blockchain technology by operating parallel records and maintaining digital ownership of physical assets. This approach ensures the potential benefits of blockchain to increase transaction speed, enhance transparency, and streamline processes, which could significantly reduce transaction cost and deliver better returns for the investors.

“We see Web3 and blockchain technology as a pivotal development tool, not a product. Looking back to 2008, when the App Store was launched, most successful companies didn’t abandon their websites in favor of exclusive App-based offerings. Instead, they embraced a dual-platform approach by maintaining their web presence while expanding into Apps. We see a similar phenomenon here, where users are not likely to abandon their familiar Web2 interfaces overnight. It is not a race to replace Web2. Our unique path to operate parallel records allows us to meet regulatory and compliance requirements and offer a better digital experience, and we expect to see a natural progression toward more Web3 adoption over time,” says Latawa.

The company caters to young or inexperienced investors who are keen to explore the world of real estate investment. “We understand that these individuals often feel restricted by traditional investment practices and seek alternative ways to grow their wealth,” says Latawa. “Our platform is designed for those who desire a straightforward path into real estate investment without the usual hassle and complexity that can be overwhelming for the novice investor.”

Their mission is to unlock the real estate asset class for everyone in the country, especially at a time when home affordability is at an all-time low. Latawa explains, “The delay in homeownership means that millennials and younger generations have no exposure to the real estate asset class, neither as  a primary homeowner nor an investor, often for up to a decade into their careers. Time in the market is more important than timing the market with any asset class. We want to provide an option to everyone to invest in real estate with as little as $100 and build their portfolio over time.”

In the coming years, Tirios hopes to continue helping investors scale their operations by understanding how to invest in real estate.
