WINTER PARK, FL–Robin J. Cherian, a rising author, recently held a book signing event and reading of his new book, Sundaram: A Husband’s Story of the Everlasting Love of Svitlana Cherian. The event took place on July 13 at “Morse Code Lounge,” a wine and beer bar in Winter Park, Florida – a DJ was featured to kick off the release of a new song by Jasmine Rhey called “Sundaram,” inspired by Cherian’s book. Mr. Cherian is an author, father and sales executive who wrote this story about his late wife Svitlana Cherian, who tragically passed away in October, 2022. The memoir celebrates the power of love while following the intercultural love story of Robin and Svitlana Cherian.

The event allowed readers the chance to meet Robin Cherian and experience an exclusive look at Jasmine Rhey’s new song, which was inspired by Mr. Cherian’s moving story. The memoir begins following the meeting of Robin and Svitlana. As the story progresses, Mr. Cherian recounts his life with Svitlana, later delving into the impact the tragic loss had on Robin who was left to navigate life without his wife. The story testifies to the power of love and loss, all while discussing the effect Svitlana had on those who looked up to her. “Death is something that happens in life, not something that happens to life,” says Mr. Cherian while discussing the themes within the book. “I think that there’s something to be said about the monumental impact that love can have on our lives, even in the face of loss. That is something I hope readers gain from my story with Svitlana, even through all hardships I may continue to face without her.”
